1. Collection of Your Personal
This privacy statement applies to all personal data (for example, cookies) that I process and to all domains related to www.renorasims.com.
This concerns the personal data of everyone who has ever visited my website.
1.1 What is personal data?
Personal data is all data that can be traced back to you as an individual, such as your IP address or cookies (surfing behavior).
The GDPR categorizes cookies (see my cookies policy and statement for more info!) as ‘online identifiers’, a part of personal data. Therefore to collect information stored in cookies, websites have to get the user’s consent. Meaning, to store cookies on a user’s browser, websites must ask for their consent. The GDPR and the EPD work together to establish the cookie consent requirements in the EU. If you want to know more about personal data, please visit this page the website of the European Commission.
1.2 What personal data do you collect?
Even though you don't have to register, the data (cookies) that's collected for the mentioned purposes below is considered personal information. This website can collect information about your computer such as hardware and software. It also uses software tools like Google Analytics and Google Adsense. These are used to measure and collect session information such as your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses, page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.
1.3 Why do you collect this personal data?
This data may be used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide statistics through Google Analytics regarding use of the Renorasims website. For example, I can see which pages have the most hits and base new projects on them but also see loading times slowing down on some of them.
The data is also collected for advertisement purposes with Google Adsense. I use Google Adsense to collect some income from the CC I have created. As you might know, my custom content for the Sims 4 is free for everyone. To compensate the cost of software such as Photoshop or storage space at Dropbox, I use Google Adsense to display ads on different pages on my website.
Google Adsense may use the above mentioned data (see paragraph 1.2) for the personalization of ads for users that visit www.renorasims.com. Please also visit Google's Privacy & Terms Site for a more comprehensive explanation.
Renorasims does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
Renorasims welcomes your questions or comments regarding this Statement of Privacy. If you believe that Renorasims has not adhered to this Statement, please contact at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
